Our Mission
Becoming a new Christian is just the start of the rest of your “new life.” Similar to a plant.
You will need God, other committed Christians, and a Pastor (a Church). These will help you to grow, be watered, fed, weeded and eventually pruned, into a type of new “family” spiritually, that produce, desirable fruit or evidences from our new lives, that pleases God and draws others to Him.
Jesus said, “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 ESV
Our Vision
A result of a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, we see lives characterized by integrity solid, stable, and secure. We envision an atmosphere of respect and love where each person can contribute and thrive. We increase in grace in our relationships:
Endeavoring to practice kindness, generosity, forgiveness, encouragement, and appreciation of each others as we inspire greatness in those around us.
Excellence in our pursuits reflecting the infinite excellence of the God we serve, producing the highest quality ministry programs, materials, and personal service possible.
Glory to Our God: Living by faith . . . entrusting our talents, finances, and plans to God’s control.

History
New Living Christian Church, originally known as New Covenant Baptist began on August 12, 1986. The first meetings were Tuesday evening bible studies at a clubhouse in Jackson. In November of that same year, a Sunday morning worship service was added and the bible study was moved to Wednesday evenings.
The current church property was purchased in the fall of 1989. By then the membership had grown to 25 people. Construction of the first phase of building ran through the summer of 1990. And it was finished and dedicated to God on November 18th, 1990.
By the summer of 1998, membership had grown to 70 and more space was needed. A group of volunteers from Ohio calling themselves, “The Buckeye Builders”, helped speed the process of the second building phase. This provided a much larger sanctuary and space for additional classrooms.
In the spring of 2014, Loren Armstrong and his family were visiting New Covenant, they attended the church for about one and a half years. In October of 2015, Loren was ordained as the new pastor, along with the official name change of the church to New Living Christian Church.
